Phil Dadson installs a new kinetic sculpture work, Akau Tangi, in Evans Bay, Wellington.

The total walkway has five major artworks, each of which responds to Wellington's notorious wind in a unique manner. The five are Pacific Grass, Konstantine Dimopoulos (2001); Zephyrometer, Phil Price (2003); Tower of Light, Andrew Drummond (2005); Wellington Urban Forest, Leon van den Eijkle and Allan Brown; and now Akau Tangi, The Sighing Sound of the Wind by Phil Dadson (2010).
